Norm Crisp, of STREAM SIDE ADVENTURES, will be our speaker in Overland Park on April 3rd and all is welcome!! He recently was a guest speaker for Bass Pro Shops. 

Norm Crisp, owner of STREAM SIDE ADVENTURES, is living many peoples dream by building a business around his passion. Norm will share with us how he is trying to apply what he has learned from the frustrations of self-taught fly fishers to developing his business. Away from the business side, Norm will share with you what makes fly fishing so special and holds such a valued place in his life. 

BIO: Norm Crisp 

Norm Crisp is the owner and head guide of THE FLY FISHING COMPANY, STREAM SIDE ADVENTURES, a guide service permit by the National Park Service and the Forest Service for the upper North Platte River Valley of Wyoming and the Missouri Ozarks. 

Norm has over 40 years of fly fishing experience from around the US and the world including 27 states, New Zealand, Morocco, Russia, Spain, Denmark, Belize, the Bahamas and Chile. Norm has caught 24 different species or sub-species of trout and salmon from their native range and been awarded the Wyoming CutSlam Certificate, completed the California Heritage Trout Challenge by catching all of California’s native trout species and is one of only 26 people to be awarded the Federation of Fly Fishers CutCatch Certificate. Norm has been featured presenter at the British and Danish Fly Fairs, Federation of Fly Fishers International Conclave and has presented seminars through out the United States. Norm has written several articles about fly fishing for trout and his travels in search of trout, appeared on local and regional TV and been featured in several newspapers articles. 

In addition to his fly fishing experience, Norm brings a unique educational background to his programs and guide service. Norm has been awarded advanced degrees in both Fisheries Biology and Water Resources Engineering. Norm has authored or co-authored numerous scientific publications dealing with water quality, environmental decision making and the use of midges for water quality assessments. He completed post graduate work in education and research at Western Governors University based in Salt Lake City and has a Masters Degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix at the Kansas City Campus.

Wes is also a RAC Certified Facilitator, a Certified InnerMetrix Axiological Report, DISC and Values Profile Interpreter and a Graduate of the RAC Coaching Academy and Certified Business Coach. Highest Ambition LLC was nominated for the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Top Ten Business of the Years of Awards in the Chambers Small Business Celebration.
